I’ve battled Dino’s before. These guys are stationary and very tiny. Is that a trait of Coolia?

It’s been a while, I’m going to say I have high silicate. I’m not sure how to reduce that. Maybe the sand or the rock.No it's not, as taricha said these are crysophytes. They aren't toxic and usually run their course IME. I most often see them in tanks with elevated silicon. Have you ever done an ICP?

I’ve used lithium chloride to reduce phosphates before. Is there anything that ties up excess silicate?
All the threads on this type are a bit scattered and a mix of accurate info and people trying a bunch of things that didn't work very well.

While it looks kinda similar to ostreopsis in the tank, it is very different under the scope. They are VERY small and completely motionless.
