Ok weird issue to have algae growing on an otherwise healthy coral but it is what it is. The coral is incrusted to the rock along with other corals so removing and treating is not really an option. How can I treat this? I have been manual removing but it’s getting worse. Any way to use some hydrogen peroxide?

Are your nutrient levels ok? Also, I’m wondering if a day or two without lights might help. Can you manually remove it without damaging your coral? I’ve never seen something like this, so I hope others have some advice too. Good luck!

Yea it’s weird. Not really any algae anywhere else in the tank.nutrients are low like usual(no3=3 po4=.03) I would have to rip the coral off the rock it’s on so that’s kinda off the table. I have been pinching the algae off the spot but it comes back. I did not know if I could take a pipette with hydrogen peroxide and squirt some into the spot with all the flow off.
