Need a little help battling algae. Not sure if these are dinos or cyano but it’s starting to take over the tank. My parameters are below…

Also, the algae is in the overflow section as well. Can it get to a point that it will restrict flow and circulation between the tank and sump?

PH 8.0
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Phosphates 0

I make my own RO/Di water and check it with a TDS meter.

I know I need to get my nitrates levels up but would that have anything to do with the outbreak? The tank has been up and running for about a year now. Thank you.

The bubbles are a dead give away for Dinos. I am so sorry dude.

Yes..have zero nitrates and zero phosphates starve out your good bacteria and let the dinos take hold. Depending on what TYPE of dinos you have, the treatment could be different. I did a three day black out then got my nutrients back up through dosing. Knock on wood..been dino free for over a year.
