Hello guy's, I've many of this algae.



Every single tuft of that stuff comes from an almost velvety spongy base of a very dark brown color. As if it were his base.


The small hairs or filaments are firmly attached to the dark brown base. The dark brown base is slightly raised, almost velvety. As big as a small coral reef. Obviously if you vacuum it it won't come off, because, as mentioned above, the filaments are well anchored.
