Algae ID

Daily I get these bubbles that go all over the tank, in water column, flowing around and attach to one another / infest the GHA. Is this another algae or bacteria ? It only happens during the day during intense lighting - should I lower the light %? Pic for reference bunch of bubbles attached to glass and can see in water column

To me it seems to be oxygen bubbles produced by algae, and the specific algae seems to be Dino’s or GHA.

It could be , just crazy that’s it’s all in the water column as well (tank has many bubbles ). I run UV and skimmer in my 20G constantly , is this maybe bad? It’s an anemone only tank

I do not believe that it is bad, but I do know that algae that produces a lot of oxygen in the daytime uses a whole lot of oxygen in the nighttime, so I would recommend removing it. Also, does the algae go away at night and come back during the day? What are your nitrates phosphates and ammonia at?

Algae never goes away , it’s rooted in the rocks and hard to pull out. Nitrates are usually 5-10 , phosphate .18 ppm alkalinity 9.5 dkh and PH 8.2

I did do a Photone app light reading and am getting 1200-1600 par on water surface but I don’t know how accurate that is , using orphek natura on 20G

Are you saying to remove the skimmer or UV?

I would keep those in there, I would just manually remove the algae and all should be fine

Got ya , I’ve been doing that guess I’ll keep it up , thanks! I think I’ll try lowering my light intensity as well
