Algae on snail

Hello,

I didnt know where to post this as I'm not sure if this is a macroalgae or not. Anyways my Astrea snail has an algae growing on its shell that reminds me off a marimo moss ball lol . Its starting to grow everywhere except my LR and My zebra hermit and emerald crab will eat the algae off the snail, So I'm thinking ita a type of hair algae, Is this algae good or bad?

I have the same algae on my Hermit crab. shell- hoping that it will find a new shell.
I am thinking scraping it off using a razor blade.

I think I'm gonna scrap it. I dont like it on the glass, Thanks! :D
