OK so I was in BSL a couple days ago and was talking about my algae problem I have been having for about a month. It was suggested that I point my powerhead so it blowes toward the top of the tank, to start feeding bidaily, and to cut my total light time back to 6 hours and work it up to 8 hours.

I have implemented all of the above. I now have a question that didnt hit me during the conversation. I understand why I took the steps listed above...in a nutshell I am starving the green and brown out. well my question is if I starve out the green and brown will I not hender the coraline from finally blooming. I have a couple pieces with it on it that I seeded into the tank. Are optimum coraline conditions different from optimum green and brown conditions?
