Good morning all.

I rarely post and usually find my questions answered elsewhere in the forum.

But, I haven't seen this question anywhere.

My reef (120 gal - mixed) is located in my home office loft. It gets decent sun exposure (indirect) on the left side and front. Algae on the glass is a never ending challenge (like every other day).

My question to the universe is - Obviously , I will always keep the front glass clean (in fact I bought a wallpaper razor to do the job). But, Does anyone else let their sides go "ungroomed"?

Thought????

I sometimes would go a couple of days before scraping my glass.

Where my tank is I would rarely view the tank from the sides so because of that and my wave makers being in the way I almost never clean the sides panels of my tank. Maybe a few times a year at most.

The back is what the CUC is for, haha.
Yeah, it sometimes is the snail hotel. I'm fine with that.

Now, if my gorgeous rainbow BTA would relocate from the top corner of the overflow box to somewhere that we could enjoy him more that would be outstanding!

Our anemone would be on the top of the rock one day and I would be happy. The next day, it's in the back corner of our aquascape, and I can't see it. Typical anemone behavior
