Anyone have any insight on appropriate throughput for an algae reactor? I imagine there's a certain gpm or turnover throughput for adequate growth. I ahve a custom AIO peninsula from Waterbox. I am looking to add GeosReef Algae Reactor, but curious on what the necessary throughput is for it to be successful. Ideally I'd like to feed it with an Ecotech Versa due to the line size (small enough that I can hide it from view). This tank sits right in my living room and aesthetics are super important. So I really don't want another pump with 3/8" - 1/2" line running in and out of the top of the tank's filtration compartment.

Would a Versa style peristaltic pump provide adequate flow throughput for an algae reactor?

I just saw Reef Factory makes a pump that does 1L/min. I imagine that would give me decent throughput?

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
