Was cleaning out my algae-scrubber last night, and came across a cheeky snail, that had somehow...
  • made it into the coast-to-coast overflow, through gaps that are too small to let him get through
  • down the drain standpipes,
  • out of the water-receiving area (which is very high flow)
  • out of the 4 filter-socks area
  • past the baffles after the skimmer section of the sump
  • and into the larger of the two floating algae scrubbers

I picked him out and put him back into the display-tank, but now I'm wondering if this is such a bad thing... Assuming he can withstand the heat of the LEDs in the algae-scrubber, having an algae-scrubber that self-cleans is pretty appealing :)
