Algea Scrubber UK Availability

Hoping somebody can point me in the direction of where I can import a decent algae turf scrubber into the UK (England). It's incredibly frustrating that we only seem to have algae reactors over this side of the pond. I did look at Turbo aquatics but I understand he's rather unwell at present sadly.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated, there's a few on ebay that look well built which I'm thinking of importing, see attached picture.

These look rather good, I need the support if something goes wrong and also for the unit to be tried and tested. Would you say the surf is the best from the rain and drop types?

They will give you lifetime support via email and phone. I’ve been using surf for 11 years, and I’ve recommended it to others. They have had success with it as well. It is better than the drops.

The rain is supposed to be good but I don’t have experience either it. I like the surf because of its simplicity And size

I blew out my power supply during a thunderstorm…had a power surge. And I had an old model where the power supply was built into the led lid as one unit. (Current model power supply is removable)

So basically, I needed my whole led lid + power supply replaced. it was 10 years old at the time…I contacted them to see if they still made this…they don’t. They make power supplies but you would need the new style lid for it to be compatible…I was way out of warranty and the issue was my fault for not using a surge suppressor….

They sent me the new style lid and new power supply for 50% off and thanked me for being a customer so long!

9 years out of warranty. Issue was not their fault. And they still gave me a huge discount on the parts I needed + upgraded me to the newer version. A+ in my book
