Alibaba led bar lights?

Has anyone tried out these led bar lights off Alibaba? Looks like a straight rip off of the Quanta’s. Piecing together parts for a 4’x2’x13” frag tank. Was curious about ordering 4-5 to try out? Probably 3 sky blues and 2 reef days. Could go less with the 120 degree lense vs the standard 90 but unsure on what par these put out.

I saw various items from that site. Always wondered if it was legit or scam sight. Do you actually get what you order and in reasonable time?

I’ve ordered some kamoer dosers, dmp powerheads, and a few other things. Yes everything showed up but took about 2 weeks average. Guess some peoples orders take around 4 weeks?

Hmmm maybe not. They sure add on the fees for import and taxes. Wasn’t this crazy last time I ordered for that price might just stick with my beloved quanta’s. I’ll leave in the cart and see if the send a discount/coupon for a day or so

I've found a few good deals, and almost purchase but this always happens. Gotta watch for the right deal I think.

I think it’s just the current deal with tariff/trade wars I’ve ordered several items off Alibaba and never had fees be anywhere near this crazy

Last order was 6 kamoer dosing pumps…no crazy fees. Though pre tariffs

I ordered 4 of these and swapped out a bunch of diodes for better spectrum that I liked. Was a breeze to take apart and resolder - they are still working just fine for me. I think it’s in my build thread if you want to take a look.

I have 4 of the 48" versions, 2 reef day and 2 reef blues with the wifi controller. Bars are solid but the controller is hot trash. Ended up doing a custom converter to connect them to my VDM for my Apex to control them, loving it so far.

But these are supplemental for me and are used next to my 2 Orphek Atlantik iCons so I can't say if they are reason I can grow coral.
