Alk raising and some sps not doing well

hi guys, need an advice from you guys who sps expert.
3 of my acro that i got from rrusa live sale are not doing well while other are doing just fine and my alk is raising from 7.8 to 8.5 in 3 days (hanna alk checker)
I'm guessing thats nitrate has cause this because after i notice they got a little burnt tip and one seem like got stn i did nitrate test and shown 0 nitrate, after the test i quickly dose nitrogen nitrate daily for 3 days now and nitrate been up to 1ppm. I've been moving these coral to the shade area and hoping they will recover.
Any advice would be appreciated

How long has the tank been set up? What are the parameters? Chasing nitrate numbers might be a bit hasty.

Tank is over 1 year old.
Parameter.
Salt 1.025~1.026
Calcium 450
Alk 8.5 from 7.8 in last 3 days
Nitrate 1ppm from 0 after dose nitrogen nitrate for 3 days
Phosphate 0.02~0.05
The only corals that not doing well is newly add coral and it just been in the tank for 2 weeks while other is doing pretty good.
It so sad because spent so much money on these corals and seeing it dying

The alk is rising because you are adding more to the tank than is needed. I would adjust your dosing ASAP. If alk demand is dropping then something is wrong.

The alk demand is really dropping and i have to decreasing the dosing time, i use to dose 1 min 15 sec now i've drop it to 50 sec every hour to keep alk stable.

Generally when you see Alk rise that fast the best course of action is to stop all dosing and re-determine the daily usage. If something bad happened the tank might not be using much Alk so turning off the dosers won't do any harm. I would let it fall all the way down to 7 and then try and hold it steady while you figure out what is wrong. Burnt tips at 8.5 usually indicates you are running low nutrient weather you wanted too or not. My biggest mistake was not stopping dosing when I noticed a small Alk rise. I let it get to 9 before reacting and lost a lot of acros.
