Is an Alk swing of 7.7-8.1 in one day too fast for Acro’s?

That’s no worse than doing a water change. I would try to limit the amount of swings though.

For my 80ish gallon tank with only acro frags, the consumption is around 4ml of 2 part a day. Is dosing 4ml in the sump at once at the same time every day too fast? Or will that not have a big enough impact to matter? I ordered ecotech versa dosers but I’ve been doing it by hand and checking alk daily using the Hanna checker.
