You are using well water? Do you purify it? Have you had it tested for heavy metals?

Yes well water through a 7 stage rodi. Resin depletes quickly

Ah, ok. As long as it is 0 ppm TDS, it isn't a problematic source of heavy metals.

Ya only use 0 TDs. My well water is approx 680. After 7 stages goes down to 0

I don't know if it would be a chemical issue or something else (light, flow, disease, fish picking on corals, etc.), but an ICP test can diagnose some of the possible chemical issues.
