Alkalinity stated percipating out, the more I added the lower it would go. After reading numerous articles I decided to quit dosing everything . (Using Jim Welch's DYI 2 part)

So now after 1.5 days my Alkalinity has dropped to 6.2., CA 411 and Mg 1439.

Should I start dosing again, add baked baking soda or do nothing? GETTING A LITTLE NERVOUS

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

What's the situation with the location the tank is in?
Fresh air available? my gut says too much carbon dioxide in the surrounding human habitat.

I think you can start dosing again, starting slowly.
Not familiar with 2 part you are using, but, yes I would dose bicarbonate, not soda ash and start slowly with lower doses.
Just curious, what was your Ca and dKH when it started precipitating?
