All dosing - during daytime per Apex video or to stabilize pH?

Folks,

newB to trident (3 days) but have been dosing for years. I had my DOS dialed in to pretty well stabilize the pH in the tank.

Netptune video recommends a 3 increment dosing for alk to maximize uptake.

anyone voting one way or another?

I’m dosing BRS 2-part 24/7 using 3 different DOS intervals coordinated with my lighting schedule to keep alk as stable as possible, while my pH swings between 8.0 - 8.4.

My previous setup kept my pH within almost a 0.1 band over a day.

I guess the question is which measurements stability is more beneficial?
