This stuff will not completely mix up. Made multiple batches and always lots of powder on the bottom even when using warm water.
Am I doing something wrong and any other people with this problem

Are you making the DIY version that mixes four ingredients plus RODI, or the newer powder version?

Making my own DIY so it's the carbocalcium that will not mix up

Go ahead and add the trace elements. They make everything go into solution.

Did that
I have made multiple batches with all products and still powder always left over. Not just alittle but at least 3 tablespoons worth of powder not mixed. Has anyone made batches with the same outcome?

Make sure you are using CARBO-Calcium not BIO-Calcium. A small amt of powder does remain, but more like a few teaspoons, not tablespoons.

I'm using the premixed powder from TM so I can't speak exactly to the DIY version. However I can say it does take a fair bit of time to mix up 15-20 minutes usually. One of the best purchases I made in the hobby is getting a magnetic stirrer. On eBay you can get a cheap one for $30. It's so great for stuff like this, I simply turn it on, dump in my solution and walk away. When I come back it's all mixed up and ready to go!
