All Second Hand Reef

This is my "New" reefer 350 G2 tank build. I've been out of the hobby for a little while since moving house and other priorities taking over but I have finally persuaded the boss that the time is right for a new aquarium in our lives.

Having made most of the common reefer mistakes with my first tank which ran for several years my intention this time is to maximise my success for the long term, minimise loss and wherever possible reduce costs by using second hand equipment as well as adopting the BRS TV Biome cycle and 80/20 quarantine principals.

So heres my setup:
RS Reefer 350 G2
Bubble Magus C5
RS Reefmat 500
RS Reef ATO
D-D heater controller and 650w titanium heater
Maxspect Gyre XF330 x2
Marco Rock
Ocean Direct Sand
AF Reef Mud
Media Bricks in Sump
Ecotech M1
Ecotech XR30 G3 Pro x2

Quarantine Tank
50L FB marketplace aquarium
100W Heater
Airpump
CopperPower + 100% water changes as required.

The tank has been cycling for 2.5 weeks at the time of writing, was cycled using Dr Tims and Ammonia Chloride and has no lights yet. My plan is to run the tank for at least 3 months in the dark to avoid as much of the Ugly stage as possible and this weekend I plan to start my 14 Day (min symptom free) quarantine with a pair of Clowns, Algae Blenny and 6 Line Wrasse

I will try to update this as i progress. I wish i'd taken more photos while i built the scape and setup the tank but in my enthusiasm to get started I didn't take a single photograph until the tank was filled.

Aquascape looks great in your tank! What is your stocking plan for your tank?

Starry Blenny
Tomini Tang
Anthias (still on the fence on this one)
Multi Bar Angel (again on the fence on this one)
Purple Tang (my dream fish)
CUC - trochus and nasarius snails no crabs (personal preference)

thats really as far as my current plans go i'd welcome input/advice. I like to buy my fish small and watch them grow so it'll likely look quite sparse initially but i plan to go slowly let things grow and then assess.

Corals will be mostly LPS and softies until i start feeling cocky and overdo it.

also if anyone can tell me how to link this as a "my tank thread" would really appreciate it
