I've had a couple of G4 xr15s sitting around for a couple of years, but never swapped them into my tank, the gen 4 tank mounts are impossible to find, and hanging them from the roof isn't an option currently.

Does anyone know if any ali express light mounts would fit them, i know a lot of those lights are radion knock offs?

Edit: i should add, I'm not handy at all, so a diy wouldn't be my favourite solution

I suggest asking this question in the 3D printing sub forum.

You simply need an adapter to another, more available mounting option like the newer Radion mounts.

Just need to find someone with a G4, an alternative mounting option, and a 3D printer on hand to make one for you.

I saw a thread on Reef Central a few years ago where people were using TV wall mounts.
Might take a little bit of diy.

G5/G6 ecotech rms slide brackets work perfectly fine with the g4.

Thank you!
Sorry one more question! Would this slider work on the newer model rms mounting arms?
I.e. use it to add a gen 4 to new arms?

I think they are for the newer rms but im not sure as I dont use it on rms arms. I have my custom 80/20 aluminum brackets. I know they attach perfectly with xr30 g4, g5 and g6. For the arm contact ecotech.
