anyone have experience with casting resin in their tank?

Doing a little crafting and putting together some casting resin into different molds, potentially to add to my aquascape. Anyone had experience with Alumilite 2 part clear coating & casting resin or any particular resin that worked for you? From what I can tell, it should be Reef safe once it is fully cured but I couldn’t find anyone with experience in an actual reef tank with this product. I plan to let it fully cure and keep it in some saltwater for a week or so before I place it in my tank as a precaution.

Anything I should look out for considering it will be going in a new tank opposed to an established system?

The whole bottom of my tank is a mix of clear epoxy and sand to make a fake sand bed (I hate bare spots) I've used west system 105 with 206 hardner for a few different tank applications like that. The information I looked up showed it was inert when cured and I haven't had issues with it in the tank. I can't speak for other types.

appreciate the experience. I’m not sold on this particular brand so that’s good to know that there are other options out there that you’ve had a positive experience with

I was looking at this as well. I couldn't find anything that definitively stated reef safe. I used Stix scaping cement for mine. I 3D printed a Castle Greskull from He-Man. The mold wasn't sturdy enough (latex mold) so it became a little lopsided. Hardens quickly
