Am I messing up by not changing water?

there is no equipment that can replace a water change
this is what worked for me 15 % a month but divide that up by 2 and do that every 2 weeks
basically if you had a 100 gallon that's 15 gallon a month so do 7.5 gallon every 2 weeks you can round up to 8 gallons let say.... hope this helps instant ocean is what i used nothing fancy but has a solid mag. base then i would use esv. iodine and strontium for trace.
if you use reef crystals it has some of these trace elements in it . don't over dose less is more
bad things things happen fast good things happen slow
