Helloo, just wanted some opinions on some inexpensive lights for a red sea cube 40 gallon, we have a decent one but not the best and wanted to upgrade, what do y’all recommend?

I'll never not tout my good experiences with the Nicrew series of black box LEDs. I've been using the 50W with the (purchased separately) lighting controller on both of my marine tanks. I don't however know if you would use the 50W or the 100W on a 40g tank.

Seems pretty good 65W

They also have pretty good customer service. I've been running one for 4ish years with no trouble, but the 2nd one I got developed some intermittent flickering about 6 months in. I reached out to begin a warranty sort of claim, and they sent me a new power block that fixed the issue with no further troubles.
