I had a mini spike of ammonia due to a mistake of cleaning the mixing tank and accidentally dosing vinegar in my system (lots of vinegar) my PH drooped and dosed lime water to bring it up, this caused a spike. The question is when the ammonia spike happened the ORP increased also to 550 mv are ammonia and ORP related in some way? is ORP to be used as an ammonia indicator also ? after control of the spike the ORP drooped to normal levels. Please post your experience with this issue if you have also noticed the same.
