yup very different when you see them in person under regular lighting. Under the super blue photos that are doctored sometimes the green slimeballs look like goldenrod but they are not the same

Definitely not. Slimeball (The Thing, Green Goblin, Etc as there are many names for that coral) Is bright green. Golden Rod is true yellow with pink polyps:

Definitely not. Slimeball (The Thing, Green Goblin, Etc as there are many names for that coral) Is bright green. Golden Rod is true yellow with pink polyps:

How much par is your golden rod in ?
I have several colonies. One is around 300-350. That one shows the pink polyps best. The others are in around 450.
