Gonna draw 3 straight tests of the 7.5kh solution. I've noticed if I pulled out the draw line where the filter is at the very end. I noticed there is still water inside the the filter. So it's not pushing it a out. Prob a couple ml..... Still in it

If it pushes it out and sits under level will water or reagent still go into it ?Gonna draw 3 straight tests of the 7.5kh solution. Well since I redid all this I decided to run the doser pump to fill entire sample line and filter with tank water. Then I pulled it out of the tank and drained it completely and got 36ml. So that's what I put in. Which should empty my line completely with backflush but it leaves water. And I drained the filter and it left 4.7mlI have a few drops not enough to cause any issues. Did you add 7-10ml to your sample size to
Account for the filter?
I basically did the 8ft plus 6.4 or whatever the kh was and dosing tube of like 3.2 or whatever it was. Added filter. And it came out to 41ml. So i changed my 36 measured volume number and to 41. Which when I blew the water out of the filter I got 4.7ml. I ran it and now I can watch it blow bubbles out the filter for maybe 3 seconds and stops.I would base it on the measure of the hose plus 7-10ml. If your hose is 8ft then put in 96 inches add 4 inches for the dosing head which is 100 inches when you get that measurement at 7-10 more ml. If you try that diss it empty?
Yeah, mine isn't perfectly straight, but it was at a more than 45° angle before. That's good to know my filter is at the bottom it's pretty vertical but it might be a slighhhhhhht angle. Today testing twice matching Hanna. 8.1-8.2. So far so good
I had that happen to me, where it locked in and wouldn't change. I can't remember what the number was. Is your KHD noisy? My internal pump went bad and I had to send my unit in for service.Tanks been good. Turned off alk dosing because.it froze at 7.7 again for last 3 days. Hanna was 7.5. Close enough. Today I tested Hanna now 7.2. Tested again 7.3. So it seems Hanna is dropping over time but kh loves to lock on 7.7. Last like 10 tests were 7.7. I flushed system and just retested. 7.7 again lol
It's not noisy.I had that happen to me, where it locked in and wouldn't change. I can't remember what the number was. Is your KHD noisy? My internal pump went bad and I had to send my unit in for service.
I would suggest calibrating the pumps and pH probe to see if anything changes. When I calibrate the pumps I weigh the output. 1 gram = 1 ml. I will do this 3-5 times per pump and average the numbers. It's not noisy.
