Anemone gone missing?

I went out and bought a nice Haitian Anemone and it seem to settle well into a rock it picked. But this morning I came to turn on the lights and the anemone was gone..I waited almost 8 hours until I got so worried I uprooted my whole aqua scape and looked threw my filter and I still could not find it.Anyone have any experiences with anemones going missing for no reason?

It’s probably in a rock crevice. You shouldn’t be bothering it if you just introduce it

It was pretty big wouldn’t I see it sticking out?

sea anemones can shrink into a size of a dime.. specially when you take the rock out of the water

When the store clerk got the anemone for me it only shrunk to about the size of a fist.

Like stated above they can shrink to the size of the dime.

They need high lighting and medium flow.

I found it! It was shoved deep inside a rock hole.
