Is my anemone okay? its mouth has been gaping at nightime?.

Sometimes the will expel water or waste at night. Are there any stringy things coming out? How is its behavior during the day? If the mouth is gaping for long periods there could be a problem.

My rock flower anemone does that after I feed it.

Yesterday it released one of its tentacles an it expelled a white string. Today it was behaving normal until nightime reached where it had a gaping mouth and expelled that white thing

Right now it just sleeping so I cant see the mouth anymore.

They do that at night a lot, see what the behavior is during the day. Watch the foot also, if an anemone is weak usually the foot is the first thing to gives and the anemone can no longer stay anchored

She ate yesterday and now she does this after being curled up all day.

I checked all water parameters and they are okay. Did a 20% water change and added new substrate yesterday and she webt back to normal. Today she spent all day curled and now she is like that
