Anemone ID

It’s growing like crazy but my LFS didn’t tell me what kind of anemone this is and I can’t find anything similar. I don’t like that it’s glued on to the frag rock.

That’s a Duncan coral, not an anemone.

Anemones don't come on frag plugs, and don't have a stony base.

Thank you I’m still new to the hobby so I’m still learning the differences!

A single head very much looks like an anemone with the exception of the large stony stalk the polyp sits on top of. Anemones have no stony base and are pretty much a blob out of water.

Once it grows a couple more heads, it will not look like an anemone.

If my lights were on, and it wasn't 1:30am I would post a pic of mine that has roughly 100 heads. It's a rather nice size colony.
