Had some extra acrylic and got some nems on the way so made up some magnetic nem boxes. Works great

The racks and nem box i got from ReefingArt grew dinos immediately that spread to others. And i read up on egg crate that apparently grows dinos.

Nice looking boxes. I have a bunch of acrylic and could used a few larger ones. How did you cut them? Router with a template or a CNC laser. I am guessing with the laser.

Plastic a lot of times requires some sort of silicates being added or used so it would make sense the Dino blooms when adding plastics to a tank :)

I would figure some plastics might have more silica then Others and maybe even special plastics can be made or bought without silicates?

I figured they had to be. Too hard to do it that cleanly with a router.

Oh wow! I just ordered a fish aclimation box because my hawks just killed the last small damsel I put in and probably killed the one I had for a while. I also ordered some mushrooms so was looking for a box for them. Now I am scared to to order but I have lost several shrooms and a kenya tree that floated away!
