It's been awhile since I've posted here in the nem and clown forum. Thought I'd share another video of my 360 gallon Raja Ampat homage anemone and softy reef.
Nems and corals are still loving the plasma lights with Red Sea Reefled 160s for some blue supplementation. I just love the daylight look and that sharp shimmer!
I do wish my Queen and Blueface weren't so camera shy. They are growing nicely and are so beautiful under the plasma lighting. My orange and purple Mertensi and the blue with neon green mouth haddoni are getting big. I'm starting to consider moving out the Mertensi. It takes up so much space now. The LTA's are doing great as are the sebae on the sandbed. I've managed to collect and move out 80% of the rainbow bubble tips that were taking over. Still working on the rest of them. Softies polyp extension are great, except for my Palua green nepthea which decided today to close up and not look its best. I'm sure its polyps will be back out soon. It's a beautiful center piece coral! All the softies are growing nicely. My Koji Wada frags are slow growers, but they are so beautiful. The blue maxima is looking so good under these lights as well.
Let me know what you think.
Enjoy!

Beautiful tank! I don't think I've ever seen so many richly colored damsels in one tank before. Very nice video of a very nice tank.

I love the daylight aesthetic, but I'm not familiar with plasma lights; can you elaborate?

Thank you Michael!
I'm a big fan of full spectrum lighting so I researched all forms of lighting to best emulate natural sunlight for my anemone reef. In my research, I came across LEP, light emitting plasma, technology. It was going to be the next big thing in horticulture back in the late 2000's-2010's, but quickly died out, being defeated by LED's. There was also some adoption by a few reef enthusiasts, but again, it lost to LED's.
I've been running 3 of them over my 360 gallon reef tank for about a year now. I searched high and low and I finally found a couple new/old stock units.
I ordered this one:
Here's a good read on the technology as well:

Thanks for the info! I enjoyed reading the info. I'll have to do some more research on these as I love the concept.
