Hi. Can someone tell me what type anemone this is. They told me it was

bubble but it looks like a carpet. He has only been in tank for 2 days so maybe he is just a little stressed . Thank you

Sorry to say, but whatever it is, it is NOT happy. Maybe even close to dead.

Is it upside down? The top even looks like its foot almost.

Almost all white, with no tentacles extending is a bad sign for any anemone.

What's your water parameters like? How old is the tank? What kind of lighting do you have?

Did it look like that at the store?

I figured that and wondered if it was upside down also. I don’t want to mess with it but should I flip it. It looks like it has a mouth in the middle of it the way the pic shows

Wouldn’t it be slowing around also if it was upside down because the foot wasn’t planted?

Its foot can also look like that too.

At this stage it would not hurt to flip and have a look. If you take a pic of its bottom, we can tell you what it might be / what condition it's in.

It might not be in a good enough state to move around actively, especially since its in the middle of the sandbed which some anemone don't like (depending on the kind)
