Hello All,
I just got a pair of Black Ice Clowns, today. Tank is still fairly new(about month and half). I am planning to add an anemone in the tank eventually. I am partial to carpet anemones but do not have a ton of experience with anemones. My plan is to have a moderate to high flow tank with fairly strong lighting. What kind of Anemones would you guys recommended. Looking for something that is not prone to get up and wonder around the tank a whole lot. I know there is always a chance of them traveling.
Thanks In Advanced.

I have 4 rose bubble tips in my 57 gallon sps tank with a ton of flow and light. Once they found the places they liked they haven't moved on me. Two of them are in a super strong flow area in the front of my tank and loving it.

If you are looking for something less prone to wandering, I'd probably avoid BTA's, they are the most known for wandering.

Usually I advise a natural match first, but for ocellaris that means crispa, magnifica, or mertensi.

All 3 get fairly big and not what I would call a novice nem, but out of the 3 magnifica would be to the easier end, and provided a high up perch they normally reach straight up for light, and this usually keeps them from wandering.

Easier for mixed reefs would be go w/ a sand dweller, LTA, or Malu, malu being smaller at 8-10" max
While neither of these are a natural match, most clowns still recognize and accept them fairly quickly, usually much faster than BTA

Your tank should be at least 6 months running to achieve stability nems require, so take your time figuring out what fits you best.

My gigantea is in a very high flow area and loves it ...and stays put...no wandering ..lol
