Hi, I am hoping someone could tell me if both of my anenome are Rose Bubbletips? Or is one a Sherman Rose Bubbletip ? One has a light green base with pinkish orange tentacles and the other has a purplish blue base and very vibrant pink tentacles. Here are a few photos.
Also, can the two of them be near each other in my aquarium? The new one is currently at the base of my rock , the other on tip top of the rock, ..not near each other. But the one on the base is on the move slowly moving toward the top. and I am just hoping they can both be next to each other at the perfect prime space on the top of my rock. Where there are no corals too close. Thanks for any help.

EDIT: I should have read the post, though you were looking for general ID. . . definitely a bubble tip haha as far as if it is a rose or other morph. . . well I am no expert. First looks like black widow to me and the second looks like standard rainbow. . . but again I'm not an expert.

Sorry and BUMP

thank you for your replies. What about the second part of my post? Can these two be friendly next to each other? Being they are both in the rose bubbletip family?

The jury is still out. Some say yes, and I have seen some awesome tanks with a mix of BTA morphs. . . that said, you can find plenty of stories about people adding a fancy morph to an existing tank and one morph doesn't make it (the joke being the more expensive one always loses).

All that said, the suspected culprit of morphs "killing" each other is "chemical warfare", so if you are going to try it I would run carbon in hopes of removing any toxins that might be produced.

Thanks. I’m not going to move it. I am just concerned because I have noticed it is slowly moving a bit each day in the direction of the top. Where my other one is living happily and never even moved once. I do feel it would be happy beside it, but I’m not sure I want to try. I will let it move on its own and see what happens I guess.

Neither is a Sherman. Sherman does not have those speckles.
