Annoying Posts

Yeah, it isn't this question, but I am not a fan of it.

Most of the time these are honest questions and I try to treat them all that way until the op gives me a reason not to.... In which case I usually just ignore the thread at that point.

Online forum tiffs are just not worth the energy.

Good point, I was a little inconsiderate asking this, because there are no stupid questions. I guess what I meant was ignorance filled questions, which I make a lot. Or ones that have an obvious answer but they are looking for back up of questions. Which again, I make a lot of these. Sorry

There are definitely a lot of confirmation biased questions that get asked. Most of the time it’s harmless enough when someone disagrees with their hypothesis. But then there are times when the question asker starts to attack those who disagree with their premise disguised as a question. That’s what irritates me. If you have a certain belief, feel free to claim it and ask if others agree with you. Don’t play coy and act clueless to keep harvesting answers in search of the one you agree with.

I would like to think that no question is a stupid one, and I would do my best to explain something to the last detail if I thought I could help someone with their question.

One thing I do have a fairly low bar for is when someone will say I'm doing this, this and this, and bad things are happening. Other members will suggest to try something else, and the OP more or less says, no, I'm just going to keep doing things my way because I think I'm right or whatever reason. It's like, why did you come asking for help then?? That seems like a waste of everyone's time

Staff member :) I know supporting members and partner members are able to edit their posts, I'm unsure of thread titles, let me look into this
Edit: Nope, just posts, not threads.

A repeated question that has been asked over and over and over instead of searching old posts for the answer that has been given over and over and over .
