Howdy
Buddy and I both like the look of Tampa Bay saltwater sand and are considering swapping out our established sand for theirs.
I'm familiar with the risks and process of replacing the sandbed when replacing with dry sand.
I'm wondering how bad is the risk of die off with the live sand? My brain tells me I should be able to essentially hot swap the sand but my experience tells me this might be a bad idea and should take the longer slow approach on top of letting the new sand cook in a brute trash can for a week or two.
Any input is much appreciated.
Thanks
Jon
