I saw these the other night at Home Depot, and was seriously impressed.
Both the price (49$) and brightness.

I'm looking to supplement the (lousy) 24" Maxspec that's ok for Sun-up and Sun-down, but lacking for "full-day". I would use a pair of these on a timer for the full-day.

They look cool.

Unfortunately they don't post any kind of spectrum graph. Not sure how good that would be for reef. Hopefully someone else chimes in :)

I like the rugged look and the surely big butt heat sink. If I take one apart I could see the make / model of the LED module and maybe find a Google match.
In store, it reminded me of "full-day" 50000k, lots of white and some blue.

Just so you know in advance, this particular light gets pretty warm (after a few hours of use) even with the heat sink which has no fan to help cool it. It worked out great for drywalling as it wasn't sucking up any drywall dust but might be something to watch using it over your tank.

There a a number of those large emitters available on eBay with the color temps marked.
