Does anyone have anything printed in PETG that has been in their tank for five years or more? I have some important items and am concerned about degradation over time due to biological activity etc.

Cheers

I have a PETG weir but it's not quite 5 years old. No signs of degradation despite 100% of flow going through it...

PETG is the gold standard in terms of endurance. But ABS and PLA hold up well. PLA will likely degrade over time but all of those three are reef safe.

Thankyou. Much appreciated. Looks like I made the right choice.

Since switching to an enclosed corexy printer I'm pretty much only using ABS, I can print much faster.
