And as far as a tank update... I glued all the hard plumbing with all the missing pieces and...it was terrible Total flow was only 450gph. That was just not going to work for everything coming off the manifold. I thought I was doing good with the Varios8 and all the 45 degree fittings. So I scrapped that first design and purchased an additional Varios6. The Varios6 will pump back to the display tank. The Varios8 will pump to the manifold that has the UV sterilizer, a reactor, and an extra output if I need it. I

All plumbing is glued and I am pretty happy with it overall!
I have the Varios 6 delivering 350gph to the UV sterilizer on the lowest setting. I might need to downsize the pump and use the 6 for a mixing station. Not sure yet.
The Varios 8 delivers 475gph on setting 3/5. I do need to be careful with these flow rates because my return pump needs to be greater than my manifold pump or else my water would be back flowing from the return chamber to the middle chamber.
I’m planning on moving next week so hopefully the tank will be set-up soon after that! Let me know what you all think!

What sized PVC pipe did you use from BRS? Really excellent looking build!
The return and the manifold are 3/4” to match the ghl flow sensors. The drain and emergency drain are 1” to match the clarisea. If it wasn’t for the flow sensors, I would have probably gone with 1” so I didn’t have to lose a lot of flow. The Varios are 1 1/4”

I'm looking at a 350 or xl 425 and I've read around that some people prefer 1" and others prefer 3/4", but I'm also considering a clarisea - do you think the 5000 fits okay where the filter socks would have been? I've also heard some people suggest the 3000 instead...

I’m terrible for never seeing this question. I’m so sorry! The Clarisea 5000 is a good fit for the sock location!
