I have a 90 gallons standard rimmed tam 48X18X24 Nice reef not too many fish 3 Banghai Cardinals, 1 Sailfin Tans, 1 Blue Tang and 2 small Clowns!
I to add 3 Lyretails Anthias 1 male and 2 Female small medium size would be my tank large enough?
Are they jumpers so I would need a sort of cover? I lost two Firefish that they jumped!
Cheers
Thanks a lot!!!

No, the tank is too small, they need at least a 125 and that sailfin needs at least a 180

I don't have enough personal experience with anthias to say whether or not they are prone to jumping. They can certainly be active.

I would say, that as difficult as they are to ship, QT, and acclimate, it would be a shame to lose one to the carpet after all the effort.

Just to complete the dialogue....anthias are not jumpers.

Sorry but this is not correct - they jump A LOT.

The tangs may need more room but I’m not a tang cop.

Think Lyertail are a good choice and 1 male to 2/3 females is a good ratio. - I have a 1-3 ratio in my 425xl. In my experience they eat pretty much anything. Just need to get a top.

I guess I stand corrected. My experience is limited to Lyretail and they have never jumped in the 5 years I have had them.
