Anthias are always happy fish, I used to have a trio a while back in a 120.
I'm looking for a cool bunch 5 or so of one of a kind but colorful of course Anthia.
We got a few circling the market but tell me what kind has a cool personality and character.
Bartlett's........ Bimaculatus.......... Carberryi.......... Lyretail, just a few what I was looking into.

Fathead sunburst are awesome. Just make sure to do a good qt and get them eating. Awesome fish though!

I have two lyretail anthias and two princess anthias (Pseudanthias smithvanizi) in my 120. The Pseudanthias smithvanizi are beautiful.

Aurulentus anthias if you have the budget for a group, tiger queen if you are willing to feed live baby brine everyday, bimaculatus if you dont want to do a group.

I want the pictilis anthias, but I haven't a clue how they behave. Not much info around about them. Bimaculatus are also cool-looking IMO but may not do so well in groups. You might try a pair. Lyretails have a reputation for killing off schoolmates one by one, usually starting with the lowest subordinate, though there are definite exceptions.

I had a pair of bartletts and loved them. Sadly, they both met with accidents T-T whichever you get, make sure you have a good lid on both the tank and the acclimation bucket. These guys are olympic-level jumpers. I had one go approximately 3' up in the air from a still start at the bottom of my acclimation bucket and land on the tile. Not cool.
