Any body else get screwed by UPS today?

Had two nice packages that were supposed to be waiting for me at when I get home. Come to find out only one made it out and the other reschedule for Monday! Package container delicate sps..

Yes I tried, the ups representative on the phone was being a, he only told me what I already know and said the package was in transit to destination so I asked if it was being delivered and he said no. The last tracked location is about 2 hrs from me and nobody knows where my package went from there.

That sucks.. I actually had a USPS man drive 1.5 hrs to me in his own car once as they made a mistake and sent the package 1.5 hrs in the wrong direction. I would call UPS back and see if you can get another person. Sometimes they have the drivers cell # also as I have had to calla driver before also. With the weather in the southern states recently I can see shipments being delayed though..

+1 shipper can request for it to be held for pick up on saturday. i think its too late today.

and it really depends on the persons mood who answers phone. so try again, also i have found out that it does not help to be mean or rude. when i am nice they are much more helpful

Hopefully good news. The vender is trying to get ups to track where exactly the package is going and see if they can do a late delivery or hold for pick up if its in my area.

Anyways, ups finally located my package and had it placed at a center 30mins away from me. The problem is I can't pick it up because they don't open on Saturdays. This is killing me!!

On the plus side, the vender is willing to work things out with me.

I make it a point to have live things held at the UPS hub. I go get them. But, I have that option not everyone does. It often knocks off a whole day on delivery. I track the package, and show up around noon on the day it is expected to show at the hub. Sometimes they have to hunt the package down in the building but it only takes a few minutes at worse. I've found that most packages seem to arrive at the hubs during the night.

In the special instructions portion of the shipping info: HOLD AT "your" HUB for WILL CALL
