Hey guys/gals,

I got this chalice from a vendor and it came in REALLY ruff and I have now had it for a week and it has been getting worse everyday.

What would you do to try and save it? Can it be saved?

thanks,

Everytime a chalice gets bleached white like that, it takes forever to get its color back. I would try salvaging a portion that still has its colors and shading the rest under eggcrate. Iodine or Amino Acid dips doesn't seem to help much either, IME.

Yup. Throw it under a shelf and let it sit for a while and see what it does. They bleach/fade colors a lot faster than they put them back on, but they can come back from very little.

Razorblade to the edge where it is receding - then soak in restore from brightwells is what I do
Good luck Mike - thanks for the order today!
I give it 10% to make it though - just part of the deal I think on some of the wild stuff
