Noticed one of the heads on my torches closes up intermittently through the day. Saw these on the side tonight. Anything to worry about?

Are those purple spots hard like coralline algae? Or soft like sponges? I don’t think either would be issues.

How far is the flesh band stretching over the skeleton? It looks a bit short….
The purple bits have little tentacles on them. And im really not familiar enough with torches to know how far the flesh should be.

I just assumed it was coralline. And it almost looked to purple to vermetid snails but I suppose it could be
