I heard that smaller clams are harder to keep than bigger clams, and that the smaller ones rely more on filter feeding than photosynthesis. Would it make keeping smaller clams easier by feeding phytoplankton?

I got my clam at about 1”, never fed it or anything and it HATED reefroids. Just make sure you keep up with your calcium and it’ll be fine! I hear that they do benefit from phyto feedings but IMO, if you’re running good lights (AI Prime or better) then you’ll be just fine :)
