So, I plan on stocking anthias for my tank very soon. What types of anthias would be suitable for a 70 gallon tank? I am looking at sunset anthias, but they never seem to be in stock anywhere. Are there any other alternatives (3 inches) that would be possible?

ignitus and tierra are the smallest anthias species that are commonly available.

If you have your heart set, then don't settle. I put a custom anthias order with TSM Aquatics and they found them after months... but I've wanted princess anthias for lifetime. They come out of quarantine later this month - WAHOO!!

Nice! Good luck with them! I'm not set on them, I love all types of anthias. I just don't know which would be right for my tank as well. I currently just have two clowns in there. They won't be a problem, right?

typically should be fine, but I've gotten where I do an acclimation box on magnets that lets me 'test meet and greet' in all territories of the tank.... just to be sure pre-release... mostly my clowns like to bite ME when I'm cleaning tank - they tend to ignore everyone else (except other clowns - I have clown territories these day)
