Is SeaChem Black Flourite Sand any good for a planted tank?

Plant Stock in 5.5g:
Rotala wallichii (Whorly Rotala)
Sagitarria sublata (Dwarf Sag)
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis (Micro Sword)
Hygrophilia difformis (Water Wisteria)
Ceratopteris thalictroides (Water Sprite)

I have 4 1/2 inch Cherry Barbs, a 3/4 inch Otocinclus, and 4 Ghost Shrimp.
Don't worry, all 5 fish will be moved into my 20 gallon once they're bigger. I have a gourami that I'm growing out, and I don't want to risk anything. Thanks for your opinions everyone!

I did a lot of research on the type of "dirt" I was going to use for our planted tank. I ended up going with Eco Complete. I like the fact that we don't have to add anything to the tank for the plants that we have. It does make the water more acidic so I must ad a ph buffer. Here is the link that I used to make my final choice. I would read the pros and cons of each one as I did and then pick which one best fits what you are looking for.

That's a fantastic link! Thank you so much - I'll use that link for future references, too.

I picked it up on Marine Depot cause I won a giveaway for $20 in rewards points. I've been using play sand anyways, and I know that's not the best substrate for a planted tank. Awesome! Thanks again
