I took a glued on frag plug because it wasn’t doing too hot and there’s this neon orange stuff that must’ve been under the thin layer the glue took off. Any idea what it is?

This may or may not be true, however in my experience coralline algae can come in many different colors but from what I have noticed is when it turns neon pink like that it is dying/dead. Idk how accurate this is. I’ve also heard of pink coralline but whenever I get those pink spots they disappear after a bit

I did have some pink coralline when I first got the rock, most of it has died off except tiny spots. But it isn’t nearly as fluorescent as this. Makes sense that it’d be dying or dead as it was sealed under super glue.
