I have this algae mostly on the sand bed that seems to mostly go away when the lights are off for awhile but comes back soon after the lights turn back on its not a slime type its kind of like a hair type algae but its not the normal green hair algae i have ever seen and i was wondering if dosing microbacter7 or vibrant would help. Thanks for any input.

grab some of it with a baster or siphon put it into a small jar and shake it up. if it falls apart it is probably cyano not algae
