Starting to notice what I think is some bryopsis algae on some of my rocks? my phosphate is sitting at 0.02 and I’m assuming my nitrate is also close to 0 since the water used is 100 percent new as of last week, the rock in the tank is about 4 1/2 months old but the sand is about a week old, I’m thinking I need some more CUC since most of mine died because I added them in too early or died during the move, I think I have 2-3 nassarius snails, maybe 1-2 trochus/astrea snails and possibly 1 cerith snail.

I’m looking for something cool like maybe a urchin? Or just any recommendations, before the algae gets out of hand.

Tux or pincushion urchin. They are your best workers. It’s always nice to have a little Algea to keep the crew going and not starving. Ive always kept Throcus turbos and urchins
